Me: Smooshed up peanuts.

Em: That's all?

Me: Yeah, usually. Sometimes a little bit of salt. What do you think smashed up cashews are called?

Em (in a dubious voice): Cashew butter?

Me: Yup. How about smashed up almonds?

Em (more confident): Almond butter.

Me: Yup! What about smashed up sesame seeds?

Em: Sesame Seed Butter!

Me: Nope. Tahini.

Em: Tahini? That's kinda fucked up, Mom.
