Uh oh

I just got fired.

Well, HR used the words "laid off", and they did offer me a small severance package (which, thankfully, includes insurance through the end of the calendar year), but the guy who fell the axe made it sound like fired. And it feels the same.

Not surprisingly, I'm still not much in the mood to write.
