Hiatus Interruptus
Well, I turned down a job in South San Francisco.
It wasn't that they offered me $5.00 an hour less than I asked for. It wasn't even the hellish commute, it's the fact that it was another flipping Temp job.
So I'm heading south again. Tomorrow I have interviews in San Mateo and in San Jose, then Monday have an interview in Santa Barbara. Still trying to set up another in SB, but haven't heard back from them yet.
It's hot, hot, hot here. The heat-waves are even too hot to be comfortable.
I'm ready to have some resolution to my life. Ready for benefits, a regular paycheck, and knowledge of whether or not I'm going to have to move (and find new schools for me and Em, etc., etc.).
I know this is more of the same griping, but there ya go.
