Happy Birthday
Today is my cousin Melissa's 29th birthday. Her mom, my aunt Carol, had a mass said for her this morning, so my mom and Em and I went to church.
As we were getting ready, Emily whined, "But I don't want to go to church--church is BOOOOORRRIIING!" I had to laugh because I remembered how boring it was when I was a kid.
But I said, "Honey, this is a special one for Melissa. Can you do this for me and for Melissa?"
To which she replied, "Oh mommy, I don't WANT to go to her Birthday!"
You know, this is flat on the screen. It was MUCH funnier in person.
Anyway--short version is she has never behaved as well in mass as she did today. I'm very proud of my Little Bird.
