"Could You Do Me a Favor?"

My sister Teri is here for the day visiting. She asked Em to run out to her car and get her sweater, "Do you know how to unlock a car with a key?"

Em replied with a yes. She meandered out toward the car. A couple minutes later she came running back. "I forgot my shoes!"

Teri: "Did you get all the way to the car?"

Em: "Yeah"

Teri: "Oh, ok. And some day we'll teach you time management, too."

Em: "Ok!"

(Mom and I were sitting in the kitchen laughing into our hands--Hilarious!)
