My Sewing Room

Shortly before the holidays, I bought a rather large kitchen countertop (in purple, no less!) for my sewing room. I got it installed, but never quite finished the project.

Last night, I did the final piece--I drilled holes in the top for cords to go through. It is now complete. Still messy as hell (I haven't put anything away yet, including the drill--Hahaha!), but I've moved from this:



To this:


Tons more space in the room, and now my mom can sew (far left) while another person uses the computer (far right)--no more sharing that chair space. Woo Hoo!

I needed to get one thing accomplished before I go down for an unknown number of weeks. I feel better now.
