Porn rooms & Lacey on top

Since I’m in the Technical Publications and Training Department, this is where the video editing room is. The door is about 10 feet behind me (just on the other side of the aisle from my office). I just found out today that everyone here refers to it as "The Porn Room". This is a nod to you, Jay. If you ever happen to be in Northern California on a Wednesday night, feel free to stop by; I’ll get you into the porn room. ;)

I got an email from a customer this morning. The title was, "Lacey on the top, not on the bottom". I thought to myself, "now, how did those bloggers get my email address and who the hell is this person? I don't recognize this name." Never one to resist temptation, I opened the mail. How disappointing it was to realize it was a customer of mine, writing from her own work email account which I didn’t recognize, telling me that she only wants lace on the top of her bridesmaid dresses, not on the hems. Damn—I was so looking forward to reading all about Lacey on top!

And this is how my day is going. All sorts of promise for something fun, and it only ends up being the same old thing.... Oh well, such is life sometimes.
